PIONEER PL-610 (1978-1980)

Purchased for $5 at a local auction house, the turntable had no sign of controlling the speed, it was over 65 rpm and the controls and meter unresponsive. I sent it to "Pacific Stereo" for repairs because I wanted to give him a job to help pay his mortgage. It cost over $300 and was somewhat labor intensive. I spent the better part of four months paying for the repair. However, like I said, giving him some work was my objective and I hope it will play for me all the rest of my birthdays.

Now I have to set it up!

If you mean $5.50 at the local auction and just under $350 for life-saving surgery?

Relative like my cousins but yes I'm glad.
