You silly goose there is no such thing as a KX-2000. There is a K-2000 that I want; but financing the wifes trip sort of put a stop on a few things. I have a K-650 here for parts. So I have to look at the schematics for it. I know the voltage on 2 legs. 7.5v and 12v. Then there is another leg that goes to the lighting.

I didn't know what the model was, I just knew you were talking about a Yamaha 2000 something. Yes it would be sacrilegious to tear parts off of a Yamaha K-2000. :rabbit:

Larry, when you get the secondary voltages let me know, I have a lot of audio transformers out of tape decks and CDP's. Even some Yamaha.

HiFi Engine I think is where it is. I'll get it tomorrow. Everything should be there in 2 days for you. Take your time I have a lot to do. Plus I want to dig into the Norman Labs.

LOL It is setting under my bench in pieces. Did you find the lighting voltage. I also received my converter today. Haven't tried it though. Working on other things.

Well I have it hooked up on the tubes. The converter works great; but I would still like to mod it to a US version. I have to say I am impressed with it only being a 2 head. I would almost put it against my Nak.
