Ok we have 2 names so far. I have to clean it up and get it ready. If you can find a manual that is free that would be great.

And If I liked it I would keep an eye on ebay and purchase one. I do need to divest myself of some audio gear here. Not a lot probably 30 or 40 pieces. :cyclops:

Maybe I'd even sell my Pioneer Spec gear to Nando. :cyclops: Nahhh, but you never know. :o

I say tomatoe, you say tomaytoe.

Hmmmmmmm I say collector you say hoarder. I haven't brought any new decks into the house hold in 18 months, I just haven't got rid of any.

Well about to try the 2000 again and see how it does. It may take awhile to find it in the stack.

Will let you know.

Hummmm, anything I might have an interest in being I am just down the road a few miles?? Do you have a list?

Robert

I don't have a list, I just know that I should part with some amps, speakers, pre-amps, tuners and cassette decks. I guess it depends upon what you are looking for? Off the top of my head I have an extra Sansui AU-717, a Pioneer SA-9800 and TX9800 amp/tuner. I also own probably 27 cassette decks mostly 1980's vintage.

Not much in receivers, but I do have a late 1980's JVC with a remote. I think it is rated at 100wpc or so. It is from the era just prior to surround sound, although it might have four channel capabilities.

Any other receivers?? My sister is looking for one.

Can I interest ya in a Yamaha R-9? Nice one.. but I never use it anymore.. It needs it's battery backup cell replaced (easy.. just a supercap .47F), which I can do before sending it out.

Make an offer.. :)

I also have an old school Sansui 5000 something from the 70's. :cyclops:

It will probably go to Steven or I will list it for next to nothing in the FS forum.

Still need a receiver Lee? What brand and how many watts? I have a stash of receivers. I'd be more than happy to send you whatever you might want, if I have it...I have a really nice JVC, but can't get the tuner to work, and loads of 70's receivers. Let me know..

Just bought another K2000. More than I use to would have paid. Saw a KX-1200 go for over 130.00. Never saw that before. I was watching it also. Watching a Carver at the moment. Film still on the door. I have a nice Carver tuner. You don't see them very often. Who made the Carver decks?
