A chip amp built by a company headed by Mark Shifter, the grandson of Saul Marantz. The Larrt managed to get them bought pretty cheap from Mark and my son picked them up. Joe re-engineered the power supply and Jer did some work on the inputs. I was going to bulk order the replacement , custom designed low profile toroids one of these days but ran out of money...that's what is holding up this project.

Monoblocs putting out about 100 watts into 4 ohms...

I'll be good with one for now. I want to try out a set of them and I do already have one. Let me know the total with shipping and I can send you funds via PP. No rush whenever you get a chance.

Thanks, Lee, no hurry. I've been thinking about a real chip amp (not that 10% THD POS I posted about some time ago) ever since I auditioned an Outlaw Audio amp last summer.

They don't sound bad at all Laz, just not to sure about the power rating. I haven't messed with one after I got the AP...

Crap I go through all the trouble to split off the x-amp posts, dig up some threads related to them, and post some images of the one I have and then no one even posts in this thread.

I have a good mind to put all these posts back to the thread they were in.

:x

Easy there Webby....give it time.....you've just answered all their questions for now. If you weren't so good, you'd be answering all kinds of posts right now...
