thanks Lee, i appreciate the effort.

i havent had the Carver in the rotation for so long, i forgot about its cosmetic issues. i dont think its worthwhile to source machined knobs, they would really look out of place on its ugly mug. actually the knobless shafts fit in pretty well.

Any no's on the color. I'll have a bunch of silver of course, but grey will be tough.

Here's a preliminary look. The 3 in their own pic are machined aluminum with the plastic splined insert. Anything touch your fancy??

ideally their diameter would need to be no more than 3/4" so they fit inside the holes of the faceplate, but thats not critical. the biggest key is having enough of them so that they all match. if i'm replacing them all i would need 8....

of those in the pics, the 3 you pointed out look good, as do any of the similar sized/styled knobs.

Here's what I have Scott. 8 or 9 kinda matched. It's the best I can do without driving 30 miles out in the country to go through some more storage.

Hve you looked at ApexJr and Antique Electronic Supply? I think CE (Larry is a member) has a vast collection of knobs too....but mostly for guitar amps.

I'd look at these places and see if ya like anything...

i've looked at several sites and found lots of attractive options, but i really didnt want to put much into this effort.

Yep, severe drool site. skratch ordered the Jamboree plans, he has a CNC wood machine at work so he'll cut 2 sets of everything and one set is coming here. The Jamboree is like a Jubilee on steroids, 2-15's instad of 2-12's.

Those are just too big for my place. I asked him if he can't design cabs for 10" or smaller 12s for older 16 ohm 12s, such as Pioneer made perhaps.
