I have two fully WOPL'd amps, a 700 and a 400. I had yet to play them together in a bi or triamp system as I've only had two for a few months now. Anyhow I pulled a big Crown amp (1500w/ch Class D) from doing woofer duty and inserted the 700 and the 400 inserted for mid and tweet. I didn't expect as much as an improvement as I have heard. The bass and lower mids are simply more textured or fine than before, can hear subtleties that I did not hear before. And I can raise the crossover frequency higher now. Before pulling the Crown was limited as it started to sound not so good above 450 Hz or so. I think the Crown will work for sub duty only going forward after listening to this. So seems I waited too long to try this. Here's a pic of the two playing together. Thanks Joe, Lee and Eric for some fine sounding amps.

Very nice!

Glad to see the 700 in action and not sitting on a shelf unpowered.

They are very nice robust amps once updated.
Rest assured it never set. Just had it in the secondary system (the 400) Now they are together. I have a First Watt class A amp in the secondary system now and it sounds very good, very similar to the WOPL's really just alot less juice pushing and alot more juice eating. Not a great summer amp really. Next amp could be a Model One I hope.
