The top section separates from the bottom BTW..
That does make it easier. The VMPS speakers that we (barely) stuffed into the Volvo measure 43 inches tall, 15 inches wide and 16 inches deep. Do you think a fit is possible? Would it help if I only brought them as far as Independence??

Where ever you live Laz...
Lee, it's an easy cruise, 203 miles and three hours, one way. Barb and I agree that the trip is feasible. Keep me updated. Do you have Independence to Gillette covered? From here, it's 852 miles, 11 hours. If you have others working on pickup, it might be best to go with them, but understand that I'm not bailing on the idea.

Lee, I checked the dimensions (18x18x44) so they should fit, especially if the top units come off.

I missed this before: "He's getting the measurements now. The cones in the back seat and the cabs in the trunk?"

I'm thinking cabs in the back seat, and cones in the trunk, but on loading that could change.

Bases are 15" wide, 15" deep 25 " high
Cones are 14 wide, 14 deep, 18 high. Not asking you to bring them all the way, just to your house and I can get them from there..
Unless your coming to Pinedale before March..

That all came together quickly for you, Lee. What was the story on the first pair of Ohm model F speakers you had and didn't keep?

At long last, my Pioneer HPM-150s can communicate with your Ohms:

Nando, I had bought them in 1976..hadvthem for over a year and overdrove them to the point of spitting voice coil wire out the voice coil. Was doing a lot of dope in those days and literally got my exacto knives out and dissected the buggers to their individual components threw em in their boxes and shipped them back thinking that's the last I would hear from them.
A week later I got a brand new set with a note that said my speaks were shipped from the factory with 5 amp fuses when they should have been 4 amp, enjoy. I was totally blown away by that. Kept them for another year, was still doing a lot of dope and they were included in a big dope deal. I was moving around a lot and didnt want the hassle. They wound up in Billings at my connects house..
