When We started this forum

When we thought up the forum. We made some rules to ourselves. We would have a group that would make like a committee. To make decisions for the forum. We are up to 4 people now. Could you please say hello to our forth member to become part of the group. Lee has been made a moderator.

There is no ultimate power here. This is our forum. When I say our. I mean every one who participates in it. We try to make it fun and educational. If you have any ideas bring them to one of the 4 and we will discuss it.

We want you all to feel comfortable here. This committee is being formed so there is no ultimate power. No egos, no prejudice and the want for this forum to succeed. We have a very good group of people here. You guys don't know how proud of this group of people I am. You guys are the most giving and helpful and unselfish group of people I know. I can say it is a pleasure to know you all.

I just want to say a couple of things. If for some reason someone isn't happy here or thinks we are doing something come talk to us. We really aren't mean. We will not come to you. It would be a waste of time. We can be talked to.

As you all know I speak my mind. I don't mind doing it. I have found that if you get it off your chest and talk about it. It helps. The admins and moderators only have each other. So if there is a problem with one of us just come to us. Trust me we will discuss it. I mean all of us. We can be chastised also. Trust me I know we can be chastised. LOL

I've tried to be a good boy, keep the humour in check without offending others or inticing naughty behavior......I find it hard to be the stuster, I take 'hits' with grace cuz that's how I had to grow up in the south as an openly gay man who likes things that straight guys do ('cept the girl thing ).

Stuwee's been banned and he has been self banned. I think he should be a greeter at Walmart, then he could take more pictures for the People of Walmart Website. I bet in a week or less stuella would show up in one of the pics.

I was banned at AK for inquiring about Dr. Strangelove. It wasn't the banning that was the surprise as my first comment on the post was " I wonder what it takes to get banned?' " And what did Doc do?"
That wasn't up 30 seconds and the reaction was swift and total. Extreme over reaction is what i was thinking.
And still that wasn't the bad part. I e-mailed admin 10 times, no response. I started threads asking for mods to contact me, totally ignored orswiftly deleated.
I finally got Mark-The-Fixer to intervene, and had to do it A SECOND TIME!!!! After a total of 3 weeks I got this reply. Whoops, can't post a pic.

If I could post a pic it was the answer from AK after reinstatement. Seems I was the 1001st to post a query about Doc , late at night and seemingly driven by ulterior motives. I thought it strange. No the pun was not intentional, not that good.
The whole thing was frustrating, AK is part of my obsession with gear made during my younger years when things were different, for different reasons, and to have a "hobby" cause me to lose sleep was BUNK!!! It was the feeling of being ignored that bothered me most. I wanted to contribute, help when I could and in general be a good little Nazi. Woe is me it never happened.
