How to Destroy Angels ~ Welcome Oblivion

WOPL Warmup

This OT stuff is killin' my WOPL time....I'm keepin it till Sphongle...sorry Jason... ;)

Compared to a CD's 120db dynamic range..

that was still pretty damn good for what it was. (back then)
…. and probably still sounds good even for todays standards.
some careful use of something like a DBX expander could improve things a bit.
we weren't spoilt back then like we are today….

Been on a Runaways kick lately. The below lp did not come in a standard jacket, just a white generic sleeve. It is a band sample of the Rhino release, perhaps better called as a final production sample for approval priorto production release. My Son's Mom is friends with Joan Jett (long story there...) and Joan gave me this record back when I still lived in Rochester when she was visiting us. Saturday Night Special is well worth a listen alone and probably my favorite Runaways track period next to Cherry Bomb, back when rock n roll was still uncomplicated

Cool album Ron. Saturday Night Special is a good track. Its also on the Little Lost Girls album I have. Cherie Curry isnt on that album though. That whole album is pretty decent though.
