what are you listening to?

The heavy pressings don't reveal whether the vinyl record will be a well-mastered one. Has anyone got Fleetwood Mac's "Tango In The Night" on vinyl. A little bass-shy, but well-mastered. I have many flyweight LPs that sound great. Any of my Midnight Oil are also good.

Nando.

Agreed, Nando. My heavily played Police and Steely Dan albums are some of the best mastered LP's I own. I think that the recording and pressing skills are the most critical elements in them sounding good.

I been looking for an original Second Helping for effing ever. One of these days....one of these days......

I sold my MCA pressings but still have my original Sounds of the South label version, love it

Sry Ben I can't help ya out on the second helping SOS label I got a couple but can't come off them or pronounced . I have a sealed og of each also but got to keep them.

It's the mastering and the pressers that make a lp good. Thick don't mean anything to me. The new hardworking Americans lp is mastered by r Ludwig but pressed by some 2nd rate place and it's got flaws all over it. Dimples and shit. I'm pretty pissed. It's on thirty tigers label.

Jackson Brown Running On Empty. On You Tube. The copy sucks compared to the album.
Not that I dont appreciate people uploading full albums to You Tube. But I have the album and this copy is awful.
Im too lazy to find the album so you Tube it is. Man I need to dub this album to reel. Its that good.
Worthy of a virgin tape:thumbup:

i still have this tshirt in my collection. I seen them again 2 years ago at summercamp. They were good but perry was fucked up big time lol.

They are gonna be here later in the year doing a three night run playing the Nothings Shocking album all three night. I'm gonna try and make one night but it's just a few days before Shpongle at Red Rocks so I might be travelling. IT's been since the first Lollapalooza in '91 since I've saw them.
