I must admit that the first six albums by Van Halen are my favorites. There are so many good songs that I don't have the capacity to make a choice. Kinda like hot women - but that's just me.

I like the first two Van Hagar albums as well. Fair warning is a different kinda VH album for me. Seems a bit darker than their other work. I'm a fan all the way up to and through 0U812 (with a few songs after being good) but If I was asked to pick it's gonna be Fair Warning

Also a big fan of the early music by Van Halen. "A Different Kind Of Truth" sounded quite crappy on CD, as far as the mastering. I gave it barely a play.
