what are you listening to?

Rolling Stones - Between The Buttons
(1967, London) MONO, LL 3349

SLF, didn't even know that album existed.

It's a good one but I like all their records until the mid 70s or so...includes a bunch of interesting Jagger/Richards songs like "She Smiled Sweetly" "Who's Been Sleeping Here?" "Miss Amanda Jones" which didn't get much exposure and Richards makes some nice noises with his guitar.

I listened to the Volbeat Guitar Gangsters and Cadillac Blood Album on U-tube and I loved the Intro and first song - there were several others that grabbed me on the first listen. Some good stuff that this Danish band puts out - thanks Ben.

Had you not heard of them before? All their albums are great. The first album is a little raw sounding, as (I think) they were trying to find their sound. By the second album the depth and tone of their albums had found its place. All their albums are worth checking out if Guitar Gangsters is your kind of tunes. The new album is really good too. Their cover of My Body is really well done.

picked up the new Tedeschi Trucks Band album.
Made Up Mind.
Some good music they are putting out.

Ben,

No - I had not heard these guys before and I randomly picked them from your list 'cause I like the name and song title - this band rocks. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks to all of the others that post here - I've listened to several bands that I had not heard before and became hooked. Cool thread!
