what are you listening to?

Melissa Etheridge - Self Titled Pre-Record - Recorded on 120 eq Basf Chrome Tape

Thanks for posting that pre-recorded tape, Derek. I never thought to look for a tape designation in the J-card. It sounds like you are slowly giving BASF a little praise of late. I know with the BASF Chrome Extra IIs, in black shell, it does have a distinctive smell to it whether its the tape or the composition of the shell. I could smell a BASF tape from 10 paces away.

Nando.

I get high on the smell of fresh Oxide, that's why I am eagerly awaiting these new tapes from Orange (sniff sniff) :laughing9:

The White power that comes off those defective TDK MAX-G tapes is also good to snort too :cyclopsani:

Eric Clapton - E.C. Was here - Thorens TD 160 Super to PC 24/96

Yes, classic Clapton. I don't profess to have all of his albums, but I have a number of them. I try to squeeze one Clapton tune into most of my mix tapes for members.

Nando.

A few more Clapton's and then its going to be a Blue Oyster Cult Marathon =) Have a bunch of them here to go through, love new music that I have never heard before.

BOC Marathon! Good for breaking in Doug's PL 400 once I have it settled in. Have you done a Fleetwood Mac Marathon, yet? 2 of the 29 albums I picked up at the local mini flea market are Buckingham Nicks Collector Edition and Fleetwood Mac's Future Games. I am trying to complete my collection of Mac's earlier stuff.

From memory I have of Fleetwood Mac Lps: Rumours (3 copies), Mirage, Self Titled, Greatest Hits, Double Live album
Would be great to get some more, always on the lookout. Anything Mac sounds great to my ears :)
