what are you listening to?

speakerlabfan, I want to personally thank you for how you document every album you listen to and post. Some I have never heard of and a lot bring back a myriad of memories. Thinkin we should have a forum section for you to document your entire collection, course that may be impossible from a manpower standpoint on your end.

Anyway, thanks again.

re; The Cars - Move Like This

released a couple of years ago with only the late Ben Orr missing from the original line up. Ocasek wrote and sings lead on all the songs. Greg Hawkes (keyboards) did all the bass lines filling in for Ben.

Ben's absence is noticeable, but for me its still the best from them since Candy-O.

Scott, it was certainly the Cars sound I had grown up with and loved.

Thanks laatsch55! it's great revisiting older releases, isn't it.

Yeah, not enough time with work and family for the music collection but I definitely will have fun getting organized and documented when I hit retirement in ~10 years or so.

I knew there was a reason I liked that album cover! So where did the nipples go?

Nipple heaven?

apparently Sharona had play and Panorama simply had a checkered flag

By 1984-5 The Cars had no trouble with the Art-O-Matic Loop Di Loop cover on Heartbeat City?

I assume visibility was the issue. Remember the 'Reagan Revolution' that was just starting to gather?

Here's a clip of some music I plan to record onto a mix tape. I've completed one tape featuring some music from this band, and it might be something I choose to put on mix tapes for Chris and Larry.
