The Kingbees. Never heard of them, $2 grab at a Savers. Nice surprise, a kind of rockabilly/stray cats style. The rock and the billy are more subdued tho.

Edit this is a 1980 album and I'm still unsure who they are.

I have one of the 2 albums they made. A friend of mine saw them get booed off the stage at The Toledo Speedway Jam. They were the opener for Foghat, Bob Seger and Heart ( I think). My buddy said they gave the crowd the finger and left. Jaimie James has made some solo albums. Good, rootsy sounding band!

Hey what do you know I just checked the Wikipedia entry for the Kingbees and Jaime James played with Steppenwolf in 1977!
