what are you listening to?

Jeeze, just coming off the graveyard shift, and listening to A-HA, the first two recordings, some good stuff in these grooves, yes I have the Lps  , that dudes voice is amazing, he holds the record for the longest single note ever sung, holding it for an about 24 seconds IIRC, I'll google and edit. I love 80's synth pop, time to sleep soon...but I have some uber fine 'Disconet' pressings of 'Cry Wolf' that wreck my last good nerve on these AR speakers

Edit: 20.2 seconds, and has a five octave range on top of that.

I wonder about when I should have been born. Spent the evening listening to some records borrowed from a good friend. These albums were plainly just stunning.

The Weavers - Return to Carnige Hall, Analog Productions test pressing.

Peter Paul & Mary - 1st album. Original WB green label.

Both these albums are over 50 years old......

These guys made music with real heart and soul. Sorry to say that most of today's artists rarely have even heard of these attributes let alone express them.
