Anyone listened much to Trevor Hall? Listening to an interesting CD of his I picked up out of the trash box left behind by the campus radio station when they moved to another studio. Trying to find some ideas for artists for next season and just wondering if he's better known than where I found the CD would indicate.

Been listening to GCJ all morning on the main system. Some of his stuff reminds me of Hendrix, Dixieland, Delta Blues, or Soul.
Lots of different styles. All good!

I've not seen any of his old vinyl in the wild, but have you heard anything of Rev. (or Blind) Gary Davis? I hear a lot of covers of his songs on others' albums - like Hot Tuna - but need to find a couple of his albums to get a better listen to his stuff.

There's nothing on my hi-res download site. Guess I'll have to succumb to searching amazon for a disc or two. Sigh....

Plenty of Reverend Gary Davis on YouTube. Going to listen to his music next couple hours. "Deaths always in a hurry in this land". A excellent tune.
