Recording A Mix Tape for Bob B.

I should be able to get this in the mail to Bob, tomorrow. It's my latest project and I completed the recording this morning, then relistened to it as a QC check before packaging it up for delivery.

Okay, color me excited if that's the theme you're showing me. I'm assuming you know the man behind the console. That's a sweet control room for a modern studio. Do they have any CD players for commercials or promos? Personally, I'd be happy as a lark in that studio with one addition:

Any you can find now will definietly need a Perry-grade electrical and appearance restoration but these were the shiznit back in the day when it came to playing spots - and later on - music on broadcast carts. They were pretty much bulletproof and you could record extra tones on the carts to start the next spot in the stack automatically, One of these all shined up would be great over in the corner where the weather radio is.

Can't wait for this tape to hit the mail box! Many many thanks again, Nando.

@Bob Boyer: That studio photo is the image on my J-card for this newest project. I have no real theme, I followed, for my track selections. This studio booth was part of Innovative Audio's display at one time. The radio DJ - Red Robinson - just passed away and worked behind this console for many years.

Thanks for the bit of nostalgia featuring the broadcast cart rack.

Gene, will do, still listening to them on and off. Will do some more this evening. Rain headed this way and grass needs cut, then two push mowers and a rototiller to fix for a single female friend of the wife. Then a couple table lamps need new 3 way switches for my mother. If time allows, then Mobil 1 oil change in the wife's car. Normal non winter busy day off work! Summers here finally! Yahoo!
