Yeah I grew up hearing Roger on juke boxes in road houses when I traveled with my grand parents as a child. A 100 mi trip always included a couple stops for a cold beer. Roger was the best, true Americana! Roger and those old road houses are now long gone and largely forgotten.

Barb and I once visited the Roger Miller Museum in Erick, Oklahoma (just off I-40). I got to read early drafts of famous songs - fascinating.

Currently, taking a rest while otherwise cleaning out the area under the stairs in the basement...while listening to the local FM classical station.

Yeah Lee, until I tell him to stop. A border collie mix, loves to run and play. Dozens of toys and knows their names. Loves a good butt rub. Shadows me wherever I go, always watching what I'm doing, wanting to participate. A good dog.
