I always thought the hat looked stupid.....jeez..

Not sure what was going on with the hat! Stills duck walk at the beginning was interesting too?????
Sure glad they didn't tip that 61' Impala, sweet car.
Niel Youngs muttonchops were popular, when I was in H.S. that was the look !
Great song, strange days..........

There ya go. Had a cream-colored GE about that size that let me listen to a couple of great top-40 stations as a kid before I started working and could start assembling a stereo.

Hi Bob,
Found an old "tombstone" radio in the attic back then, so that was my "base station" in my room and the transistor was for anywhere/anytime....went through a lot of 9v batteries........listening to good ole' WLS out of Chicago. Had an ancient Halicrafters Short Wave too, one of my first repair jobs....was given to me not working......remember listening to the “Rumble in the Jungle,” fight, live on that! Good memories.

Drove a lot of nights between Greenville, SC and Chattanooga listening to John Records Landecker on WLS. Youtalkin'tome? Those boogie checks of his were usually epic.

Wow, John Landecker,....... boy does that bring back the memories!
I was trying to remember those DJ's names.
That and "Great Lakes Dragway" ...... Sunday!, Sunday!, Sunday!
Thanks for that!
