Far out! There was a gang of woodpeckers in my headphones and then they just started a semi-acoustic jam session!

It's too bad that these birds have such a short lifespan or I'd hire them.

Yeah, they went too far with the test tones.
The music part wasn’t bad, the phase changes during the spoken part do strange things on iPod audio, some parts barely audible.

The idea of a hard drive music device was thought up around that time IIRC. As early hard drives for small computers didn't really exist in 1979 and it was either tapes, or something akin to RAMAC? at IBM, not to mention they were beastly expensive just per MEGABYTE, maybe you would have had one Elvis song.

I found the voice well rounded and of FM like processed quality (like an Orban).
