Glad to hear you have been busy. Same here as business has been overwhelming at times. Finally getting a little bit of a breather before the snow flies.

a nice thrift store find this morning. The cover was partially in shrink before I removed.

I saw Jessie Colin Young performing solo as a concert opening act in Seattle in the early 70s after he left the Youngbloods. Maybe the 1974 CSNY concert?

No kidding. Rhythm and Blues.

Duane Allman was in that crew on guitar, including slide guitar, on tracks on at least a couple of Aretha's Atlantic label records including Spirit In The Dark.

Hey slf, I'm just curious if you or anyone else has the 'Atlantic Rhythm & Blues 1947 - 1974 box set? I bought my Lp version in the 80's as a cutout, I think I paid about $25 for it  . It's a who's who of all the big black artist in the Atlantic catalog, many of the songs were covered by white bands and singers later, so these originals are true gems!!

Mine is 7 double Lps, with very interesting liner notes.

And thank you soooo much all your contributions to this thread, I'm in awe of your vinyl collection and your music knowledge even if it's a bit fuzzy at times :hippy2:!! Craig
