There are no oranges in England. Isn't that why they call them Limeys?

As Steve quietly slips into the 1100 category he fires broadsides and scores direct hits!~!@!!

Letting my ears recover after seeing just how loud the K's could get last night, I may have hurt my crossovers.

Bah! pussy  , I'm fixin' to get Shpongle'd with my buddy who just stopped by....he hasn't heard the 'God Particle' yet

I don't play the slabs like you play the K's, one must have a bit of decorum when friends are about

LET"S BOOGIE BOYS!!!!

Blowing them back out the door is NOT displaying the proper decorum?????

Picked up another four LPs, after work today. Anyone heard of the English rock band, Status Quo? I'm listening to their 1973 release titled "Hello!"

Doesn't surprise me.Very, very expensive habit in Island. But clubbing is very popular. Not a whole lot else to do when its snowing and blowing out. Stay somewhere warm and get "shitfaced".
Been there-Done that-Got the T-shirt..

Heheh.. that sounds like the "northern version" of Diego Garcia, 'cept we also could fish, swim, and drown while shitfaced. Here's a site for the best bar on the island...

Hehe, it's rude!! Well that was fun, Lee, you gave me an extra CD of 'God Particle' so that went out the door with him, he's off to hunt some T & A  , jammin' all the way!! I'm slowly converting the masses here in Southern AZ

I have to say as much as he like it and the Onix, the Thorens was the Champ :love10: , All it took was Madness and some B-52's to sway the vote :evil4: ... he wanted to hear some Lady Ga-Ga, I asked him to leave! What's wrong with these kids today????

You're livin' in your own Private I-Da-Ho, IDAHO, walkin' 'round like a wild PoTaToe don't know where to party 0 :thumbright:

Not bad, at all! For an English band they sure sound like an American group playing boogie rock. When I looked up the "Hello" album, I discovered my album cover shows a silhouette of the band where the other in wiki doesn't. Also, I found the original receipt dated Feb. 28, 1975, inside the record's dust cover, just now.

Wow Nando, Cool, I had a cassette of theirs years ago, IIRC I liked it alot, I have no idea what became of it...

There's not much on google on them either.

The last track is just shy of ten minutes long, and worthy of being on the Travelling Guitar Tape. I need to find more of their early music.

Nando.

Jer..... Electroplasm got me too, almost jumped outta my chair.
