Strawbs - Grave New World
(1972, A&M) Monarch symbol in the deadwax
No booklet with this copy which I think is an upgrade over another copy that I have with the booklet insert. I'll compare if/when I find my other copy in storage.
Robert Palmer - Sneakin' Sally Through The Alley
(1974, Island) -1A / -1A STERLING in the deadwax
a favorite with terrific sound quality. with The Meters, Lowell George, even Steve Winwood on a few tracks. enjoying with Redhook ESB from an original Seattle microbrew started in 1981 in an old transmission shop.
John Prine - Common Sense
(1975, Atlantic) Monarch symbol, AT/GP in the deadwax
produced by Steve Cropper. w/ Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Donald "Duck" Dunn, Glen Frey. with song titles like Come Back To Us Barbara Lewis Hare Krishna Beauregard and Wedding Day In Funeralville - lots to like as always with Mr. Prine's tunes.
Blues Image - Open
(1970, Atco) Monarch symbol in the deadwax
Killer LP. really great sound quality - low frequencies, soundstage and separation make this one a great listen. I remember listening to Ride Captain Ride on hit radio back in 1970, there's much more on the deeper cuts.
