what are you listening to?

I just found out Billy Gibbons has a new solo album with his band the BFG's. The album is tilted "Perfectamundo."

The Beatles

1
2015 Remixed & Remastered

This greatest hits came out in 2000, got the remastered treatment in 2009
with the rest of the catalog and now is reintroduced in 2015 with "true" remixing.
The earliest of tracks are far from dramatically better, but once you get to 'A Hard Day's Night',
you can really hear the benefits of remixing. Remixing not only effects the clarity
but also changes up the sound-staging and punch. Pretty amazing in the later tracks.

The CD is worth the coin. But if you're a fan, the box sets are really cool
because they come with video's with remixed surround ... which again ...
as tracks get newer, the mixing really stands out.

The only other time Beatles content that was truly remixed was for the 'Love'
Cirque set and the Yellow Submarine 'Songtrack'.

If you're into The Beatles and want to hear more powerful renditions of
some of their work, remixed by Giles Martin (son of George Martin)
buy the 'Songtrack' and this new greatest hits.

It's killer ! :happy2:

Having heard the remixing job done,
I'm a big proponent of remixing the rest of the catalog.
Hopefully some day ...

Anxiety (Get Nervous) The Best Of Pat Benatar, Vol. 1 (via Valerie)

Not dynamic jazz, good relaxing to though. Smooth sax. Good one to have in the background while reading or plunking on keys.

Funny you should ask - actually my favorite cut. Not experiencing sibilance.

First three sides are dreamy music...4th side is the best of the bunch.
