what are you listening to?

Eric Dolphy - Out To Lunch
(1964, Blue Note) 1966 pressing with "A Division of Liberty Records" on the label

incredible sonics and playing that is not for the faint of heart.

Bachman Turner Overdrive - Bachman Turner Overdrive II
(1973, Mercury) G.K. in the deadwax, mastered by Gilbert Kong

a fun record but I'm skipping over Taking Care Of Business because I probably don't ever need to hear that song again. Recorded at Kaye-Smith Studios, Seattle.

Second that. I wanna kill something 2 notes into that....BUT...when I put on "Not Fragile" I gotta crank the knob on that one...

Haha. The title track on Not Fragile is a monster especially the low frequencies. The copies mastered by Gilbert Kong (G.K. in the deadwax) are killer.

Miles Davis - E.S.P.
(1965, Columbia) -1B/-1A machine stamped matrices

May have to give this one a spin soon, SLF- thanks for the inspiration.

I own almost every version of this lp, here is the rarest of the rare (I sold one copy to Mile Lemke and still have the best one here). Tetragrammaton shortprint which should have never been released since Deep Purple signed with Warner Brothers for this release
