what are you listening to?

Watching the Red Rocks video, this fellow reminds me or Dr. John from the seventies.
He used to be the warm up band for the headliners at Detroit concerts quite often.
Not the same music, Just a similar 'get up/ look'

Yeah, the Steve Wilson Remix. I own all of the ones he did. They sound amazing. And they include 5.1 surround mixes too and they are pretty cool.

Relayer and Close to the Edge are my two favorites.

Found this nugget today, Mind Garage, and it kind of looked like it was going to be blues/rock of some kind.

Couldn't play it right away so read up online. Seems they were more or less a Psyche band and a Christian one at that and pre-dating the Christian Rock Band genre by a bit - 1968. Might have been the first. Wouldn't suspect that by listening to the record.

Played with Santana, Canned Heat and turned down Woodstock, Also walked away from RCA when they wanted to renew their recording contract.

If it's rare and worth a ton, I'll be on my boat somewhere waiting for my house to be built.
