what are you listening to?

I had it on the tube but wasn't paying attention...I only perked up when I heard Ozzy mention cannibalism...what was that about? (I didn't perk up enough to turn off the stereo and listen)

In early Jamestown there was cannibalism, for some reason that really freaked Ozzy out....

Disappointment here. Although the studio album is a nice fresh pressing of the blues/rock classic, the bonus discs of the live concert leaves a lot to be desired in terms of sound quality. I recorded the live discs into Audacity to make an .MP3 copy for the iPod, and noticed an approximate 8db drop in sound level after the first track of the second record.

The studio album sounds great, but I would have preferred a disc of outtakes as the bonus material.

Wire Red Barked Tree (Pink Flag PF 18 LP (2011))

Getting this record was a royal pain in the sphincter- practically unavailable in the US. Bought from a Discogs member in Germany.
My favorite post-punk art-rock band!

I have this also Mark. Trust me, the original bootleg recording sounds FAR worse. It was never meant to have a professional feel to it, the original master was certainly not recorded with fidelity in mind

I hold that truth to be self- evident! Still- what a disappointment! Especially for the price of these 180g remasters...

Couldn't agree more.

LZ I is my least favorite remaster with 'Out Door' in a very close second. I don't even listen to the live junk.
'How the West was Won' and the BBC Sessions are far more rewarding IMHO.

I suppose the alternate track deficit is due to 'Coda'.

Wow... STELLAR! The only drawback is getting up for frequent disc flipping!
It's like I've never heard this album before, the sound is so incredible...
I wish they'd do more double 45s like this.

Ultravox: Vienna
2008 RM/RE of the 1980 classic on 180g white vinyl
Included a 7" with rehearsal tracks of "Sleepwalk" and "All Stood Still," also on white vinyl

A favorite of mine. Something subversive about white vinyl, though... and it looks really cool!
