what are you listening to?

Lou Reed - Transformer - 1972,2012 reissue lp.

Picked this one up some years ago and it was still in the shrink until this evening. Another cut that dates back as far as my memory. My old man loved Lou. Andy's Chest being a favorite of mine. An original in great shape is something I have never seen.

First album I brought home that didn't have the "F" word bleeped out. Even the Mayall Ten Years After album had it censored.

Not Much, being lazy when I should be exercising, but bad dizzy spells today and headache so f*ck it. Got written off last night on the bottle. WOPL will cheer me up, good medicine on the volume dial!

Had interview for full time position on friday, screwed it up. Of course I did not have the right answers, there has been no training in the 'official' procedure. Doesn't worry me, still get the higher pay rate on casual basis, and I can go home when I want still. relationship going very slow with her ex taking her to court again, trying to stay out of it. I hardly see her now but still hanging on, I can accept being on my own, been doing it for years. At least she is still there, sort of.

Sorry to hear that Bud. Been workin my ass off man. 60-70 hours a week. Gotta do it. The oil price is in the tank and we are strugglin, but we should be able to weather the storm....

Yes I understand that would not be easy. You have amazing discipline to hold down those hours. I could never do that, at least not in my current condition. But like you say, Life ain't for sissies so we just keep on pluggin' along.

I gotta hang some washing out, it will probably rain soon, hot windy weather with nasty cloud patches. See if I can get away with it.

We are almost down to $1 per litre here, but I know it should be like 80 cents, government jacks the price up anyway. Luckily I have not paid for fuel since I started working for this company last year. We use diesel in the company cars, and diesel is always more expensive than normal petrol, about 15-20 cents a litre, but the cars can do almost 1300 kms to the tank when driven properly.

Hosed down the back of the A/C condensor a few times today to make its life a bit easier. Compressor has been Flat stick for 6 hours. Up to 33c and 87% humidity today. Its a nice 25c inside at 51% humidity. Thank goodness for Freon.
