what are you listening to?

Some pretty awesome stuff Jerry sent me on an equally awesome Rat Shack MPX metal tape :thumbright:

Lesse, Lee Ritinour, Joe Walsh, Steve Miller, Moody Blues, Shpongle, ICP, Madness and the great Nitzer Ebb!!!

Whew wears my skinny butt out, playing at Mach3 on the AKG cans.

Jerry, great tape buddy! And one good thing about the lightness of the Denon, I can quick disconnect the IC's from the back of the preamp and just hook them up to the Sanyo or the SAE combo in the bedroom for tunes on tape. I don't disconnect the back of the Denon jacks unless it's nessesary. I don't want to ruin that nice work you did for me. I love ya Man!!

"The album of the soundtrack of the trailer of the film of Monty python and the holy grail"

What mouthful.

Ooooo, stu agrees!! Paul your close to the magic 500 post mark :ugeek: , I just wanted to say, I've known you longer than most here, since waaaay back in 2005 when your avvie was a brown recluse spider you found on your wall in St. Louis, your taste in music is barely surpassed by your taste in gear :bigsmurf:

Anyone who knows Pilot stuff is badass is :D in my book

Whatamilistento? Zep, Houses of the Holy, a rare Atlantic SD 7255, 95038 DJ pressing, SMAS in the deadwax, and of course, RL, Robert Ludwig mastering mark too!! 1973, has some pops and tics, but wahteva...

Hard to believe this albums been out for almost 21 years now.

Woof!! Give it Away, Give it Away, Give it Away NOW!!

I saw them in Dallas in a place called 'The Vault' way back when they just started out, which was an old bank converted into a club, they debuted the socks over their genitails part of their act, and were promptly arrested by Dallas's finest :angryfire:

Sounds like a great time. I did not get to see them til late in their career but had been listening to them since the mid 80's. Have you heard their most recent album? Rex highly recommends it :thumbleft:

Excellent choice on the LP stu! Used to be my all time favorite Zep but the double albums worth of tunes on Physical Graffiti had nudged it out several years ago.
