How was the hike and fishin??

Great hike, but very strenuous. The picture is from near the summit, looking across the valley at Del Campo Peak and Big Four Mt.

We skipped fishing and hit a favorite Szechuan Chinese place, then late afternoon minor legue baseball game - the Mariners 'A' farm club in Everett. Great time with the home team winning 9-7, a sunny 75' day and 12 oz hard cider on draft. Felix Hernandez pitched at Everett on his way up to the big leagues.

Alton Ellis: Mr Soul of Jamaica

A little Alton Ellis on a warm morning. I like his Treasure Isle recordings on this album even better than his Studio One stuff myself.

recorded in Paris at the Barclay-Hoche Enregistrements Studios. There is some interesting music here and when there isn't the sound quality and percussion effects are enough to overcome the strings and schmaltz.
