what are you listening to?

Sorry man, it's already heading to another zipcode. I sold it yesterday for $45 shipped. I played it one last time before it went to the PO. I will keep an eye out for one for you though

Nice job. Always been one of my favorite Bowie's along with Ziggy Stardust and Low.

...his vocals make me cringe

No surprise. It's all that DEATH METAL you listen to. It's rerouted your auditory nerves...

That is a good album, Dave. I hadn't listened to it in some time.

By coincidence, I had my Dual 1229Q also playing a few LPs tonight. Andreas Vollenweider's "Down To The Moon."

Nando.

Let's make this a trio of Duals.

The 510 getting ready to play Ten Years After - A Space In Time...

I also have an original Capitol with RL mastering. Have not compared, this sounds mighty nice.

Not a track from this record but a great clip of The Band in rehearsal in '69:

Great sound quality and music. I don't recall cringing at the vocals, will have to give another listen. One of my favorites of his for the great SQ.

SLF, it's his high range vocals that kill the album for me, just sounds plain weird

I love that song! Levon is the man.
Thing is, that rehearsal clip has a percussion backing tracking everyone is playing to.
Levon isn't hitting all those progressions while singing.

nothing specific. Just me and girl in a car driving down the Mississippi to New Orleans to eat and drink too much listen to a lot of music and just enjoy the sights.
