While I have watched a lot of his stuff on Youtube, Casualties, is my first physical copy of his music I own. Ive seen everything from when he sang for Vai, to SYL, to DTB/DTP. Love Accelerated. I will check out these other albums you mentioned Tony. I have probably already heard some tunes from them. Shop owner will come back at me with a list of available vinyl. Was Accelerated ever put out on vinyl?

That's exactly where they got the name ! :happy2:

... and most people can't stomach the movie (MMT) long enough to ever catch that part.
Thanks for that, I've wondered for a long time. MMT is a hard movie to find, and I can see why- not the best Beatles movie, but being a fan of the MMT LP, seeing the movie was necessary. Even a worn-out VHS copy is rare.

I also liked "The Magic Christian" where Ringo played the adopted son of Peter Sellers and went on a rampant spending spree. George Harrison was also into movie (and music) production, his company, Handmade Films, produced "Time Bandits," another classic with comedy as only the Brits can do.

Spinoff: Not related to either the Beatles or Peter Sellers, but nonetheless one of my classic favorites: the original "Bedazzled" starring Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. Filled with those dry, subtle British zingers. "I thought up the seven deadly sins in one afternoon, and the only thing I've done since was advertising." (Peter Cook as George Spiggot). The remake of Bedazzled was no where near as good.

The Montgomery Brothers - Groove Yard
(1961, Riverside) UK pressing

Wes Montgomery with brothers Buddy and Monk. a scoop from a haul at a yard sale couple of years ago. Every once in awhile those boxes of the usual crap in the driveway are full of a nice collection.

David Pritchard - Light-Year
(1978, Inner City) MASTERDISK in the deadwax, mastered by Bob Ludwig

tasty jazz guitar fusion. Larry Klein on bass was Joni Mitchell's husband at the time.

David Matthews - Dune
(1977, CTI) MASTERDISK RL in the deadwax

The house arranger for CTI takes on Dune on side 1, other scifi themes explored on side 2. tasty wacka wacka guitar - Hiram Bullock and soloing from Eric Gale, bass Mark Egan. Otherwise, blah smooth arrangements.

I'll have to look for that one. Klaus Schulze did his own "Dune" takeoff, a completely different direction from yours I imagine:

It's been foggy for a few days - cool picture of the Space Needle ready for tomorrow's Superbowl.

Oh yeah, I bet that one is much more interesting, like the book itself which is a great read. I guessed that the CTI record was going to be smooth but I couldn't resist for $1 and being a Dune fan.
