Santana - s/t
(1969, Columbia) -1A/-1D Santa Maria pressing

nice, really nice conga, timbales, percussion, organ and guitar playing on this debut, this band has potential.

I'll have to try that album on my new cartridge, it brings out the highs and separation very nicely.

Derek: Just got around to listening to "Crossfade" from Mannfred Mann's Earthband. I have to get that album.

Certainly have heard some from the band, but I don't have any of their albums. Give me an idea of which albums to look for, Derek.

Nightingales & Bombers, Solar Fire, and The Roaring Silence are my favorites but I'm sure there are other good ones out there as well.

180 Gram Vinyl Remasters of Led Zeppelin's "Houses of the Holy" and "IV" came out a few days ago, can't wait to get my hands on them. I think there is also deluxe versions with different studio takes etc but not much "new" content. Even still would be nice to own. I always wondered why 1, 2 and 3 were available in multiple copies at the new record shop but not those other two, obviously they had not been released yet in that recent 180 gram remaster form.

This is a second copy I have of this LP, I also have it on CD. really enjoy Buckley's lyrics/poetry, something new with each listen.
