Broken beyond repair but highly affable
Well, from 1975 through now, I've covered everything there but Alaska myself.

Live Yardbirds Featuring Jimmy Page. This lp was quickly pulled from shops when Page sued, the WLP versions w/ the monochrome covers are counterfeits. This is the 1st 1A/1A Epic press. Columbia reissued it under their Special Products catalog and even copies of those are pricey

As for the lp, this is the heaviest lp in the Yardbirds discography IMO, awesome Page trippy effect solos and a preview of later Zeppelin material was on this

Hmmmmmmmm.........
If you knew Jerry Fogle or Sky Saxon back then, you probably met me. I was at a lot of Cirith Ungol shows. Sky was a smoking buddy, he was the guy that said "Where's the budz?" first thing to anyone he met LMAO

As for live playing, I was in a few obscure metal bands of which there is maybe only cassette tapes recordings of left somewhere (Parallax, Mayhem). I know a lot of dudes in the music scene from the 80s but ended up having 4 kids instead of career in music. Such is life, I have no regrets. I probably would have overdosed and been one of those tragic rockstar tragedies

Jason, funny that you mention Dio. I met him when I was going to RIT through his cousin Dave Feinstein who formed The Rods, a Western NY metal band. He was a cool cat and an iconic vocalist in any band he was in; Ronnie and the Prophets, Elf, Rainbow (my favorite era0 and of course Dio. There was also Heaven and Hell at the end before he died

Jane - III German Brain label 1048. Great Krautrock from an iconic band. This is a gloss gatefold with fantastic artwork by Dierk Pape. These guys are like the German Allman Brother's IMO, jams and harmonies remind me strongly of them. A most excellent listen

They were probably :color:, it's more of a folk psyche genre album and mixed raw like a garage lofi recording. It was s ide deal for Noel while he was with Hendrix so I am sure there was an angle there, Are You Experienced sounds very similiar if you have an original copy. I know you had asked about it so I sent it on down thinking to surprise you. If you don't like it, send it on back in the package you are mailing

No i dig it. It's just crazy sounding on my current setup. Here in a few weeks I'll be listening again when I get my million dollar speakers back. I've never heard a og press of any hendrix records. I talked to my old boss yesterday and I'm gonna try to grab his whole collection cheap I hope. But he has a lot of good stuff.

That Beavis Frond vid was awesome, thanks for sharing it! I only have on lp, this one is from 1988 and it kicks serious ass. I think they were voted the best new UK Psyche band. Definitely heavy shit

Thanks.

Nick Saloman is such a great guitarist. The albums may not have the best production values but the talent is evident.

Triptych is a good one. I especially rate his early stuff.
