I have 3 or 4 cases full of 8 tracks, mostly Black Sabbath, Beatles, Rolling Stones etc... probably have some sealed ones kicking around to
I'd love to get my hands on some more one day when I'm not so poor. Give them some love, it does them good to play them once in a while. The ones that are played once a year will last way longer than ones stored for a long time as they can develop problems.

very rarely is it the machine's fault, unless the capstan shaft is very dirty and sticky.
Yeah, then they unwind inside the machine. I use the old trick of lightly pulling down on one side then pull down a little more firmly on the other and the tape gets sucked back up into the case. Anybody remember jamming cardboard on one side when it's in a player to get it to play right LOL

Just scored Van Morrison's "Astral Weeks" album on 8 track brand new sealed for $9.95. Couldn't help myself there.

Good lordie, that's like Dickens.

I have LZ III as well, AND Goat's Head Soup.

I still have a bunch of sealed carts.

Here's a few I have, there is another big cardboard box full of at least another 50 or so somewhere buried

Picture will look small here but go to this link and then when the image comes up, click on it and you will see it full size, you can easily see the titles then

That Beavis Frond vid was awesome, thanks for sharing it! I only have on lp, this one is from 1988 and it kicks serious ass. I think they were voted the best new UK Psyche band. Definitely heavy shit

Psycho's Mum - A Sibilant Sin on Woronzow Records. Basically original members of The Beavis Frond w/ a different singer. Not as heavy as TBF though, more like early Floyd type UK psyche

Your PL-71 looks mighty fine, Ben. How much longer for your Bose 1801 amplifier?

Nando.
