As a former tour rat, I've gots ta represent, yo! :happy7: Plus, I missed out on this conversation yesterday and like to stir the pot from time to time.
Might as well join in the nonsense lmfao. This was all in good fun for me! Hope everybody sees it that way!

Jerry was a shit guitar player... most Deadheads acknowledge that. His playing fit with the Dead though, he can play the same lick over and over (with very little variation) and when your fucked up, it sounds stellar. This is coming from someone who saw them over 130 times. Jerry's tone though was exquisite and that was the appeal to me, very tough to dial in unless you have one helluva clean section in your amp and use low power pickups. Deadheads did not go to the show just to see Jerry play, they went for the WHOLE experience/atmosphere and that includes the Brothers and Sisters standing next to you with a joint in one hand and a bottle of liquid acid in the other :tongue1:

DOSES!!!! Who's got doses?

All in fun Lee, we got a bunch of great guys here. Everybody hears nusic differently and we all have our predjudices and likes. It's more fun to discuss music then politics or religion IMO. Those are two very flammable subjects indeed and I avoid them like the plague
