Budgie - Never Turn your back on a friend - Thorens TD 160 Super to PC 24/96

The Doors - LA Woman - Thorens TD 160 Super to PC 24/96

Also known as Alice Cooper. School's out on the 707.

RTR would be nice, a territory I have not ventured into yet. I have a Teac X1000R that needs a capstan belt. Maybe one day I'll get around to buying a replacement.

Get er done. Thats a nice deck. They are fun and sound grear. A little expensive on reels though. I want a 909.

Thanks for the encouragement on the RTR, I'm going to look into it :toothy10:

Electric Light Orchestra - Out of the Blue - Double LP - Thorens TD 160 Super to PC 24/96

Before you do anything though, check the condition of the heads. Teac heads are no longer being made. Something to also consider, being that its an "R" deck, you may want to cover up the reverse head if auto reverse is less important to you than having an extra head. Obviously when the time comes to actually use the deck.

The Heads are worn. I was told they were not beyond re-lapping but I don't have the money for this, obtaining the WOPL is number 1 priority at present. I wouldn't mind getting a belt and trying the X1000R out anyway.
