Counting Crows-This Desert Lifew

Found an oddball at the flea market today. Haven’t played it yet- need to replace the pressure pad and sensor splice.

Nice score there Mark.
That album is pretty common as an LP, believe it came out in 1970.
Probably not many 8 tracks out there.....

Wondering what latch played that gave the Oil and Gas man that visited a come to Jesus moment.

Echoes.org had a good Monday and Tuesday 2 hour program that I can tune in or stream. Since it is bedroom listening it doesn't matter much. But last night WEXT streams from 12-5am these two shows plus an hour. During the week they play the first hour again for a 3 hour program. Easy to mess up my sleep listening to these programs but I think I was meant to be a second shift guy, not much for mornings.

Anyway, back to the 2270 recap where I listen to another 5-pack in the changer (upgraded chip it sounds as good as a Rega Planet) which consisted of:
Coheed And Cambria – In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3
The Cure - The Head on the Door
David Bowie - Stage Disc 1
The Cure - Pornography
David Bowie - Stage Disc 2

I have The Cure and David Bowie in my collection 1 or three. Now I have 7 Cure albums and 19 different David Bowie, all with the CDs Tom Clone has sent me. This 'set' was fine in my book. Some of the others were a bit let's just say unusual

I don't normally play more than one disc for an artist, hence some alphabetic jumping around as I work my way through this 350 disc shipment. SinceI know two of these artists a bit I was ok with doubling down.

More soon enough, No it will not be 5 Bowie discs. I'll dip into the Es and put on Eels and maybe something deeper in the alphabet.

Sleep.....Holy Mountain
They do a great cover of Black Sabbath's Snow Blind on this album.
