Ok here goes my intro I have been a lurker on this board for about six months on and off. Some of you know I am a regular on TH's. I got a PM from a member here and asked me a question on the Crown amp he just received. He linked me this website and I wanted to follow his journey on his newly purchased amp. So I had to join if I wanted to add my 2 cents to the mix. Thanks to all for the warm welcome. I'll stick around for awhile. I'm not an audiophile I'm not brand specific. I just like quality sounding music. I have some nice equipment that works in my racks that I enjoy daily. I have stopped buying equipment, since I have no more room for another piece. I also have enough tape new and used that is coming outa my ears. Well that pretty much sums it up as far as this part of my hobby. I have other interest as well. I have a electro-mechanical background. Once I set my mind to it I can pretty much do what its necessary to get things up and running, and not blow things up. Well that's about it for now.

Sounds like you'll fit right in.. Seems most of us here aren't married to any particular brand, whatever sounds best.

Welcome, Robert. Yup, I spend more time on here than anywhere else in Forumdom. Some won't know you, so I expect to see a few pictures of what your present stereo system is comprised of. You will appreciate the demeanour of our well-mannered membership.

Nando.

He is one I found OTARI MX 5050. More to come I got a infrared remote and a outboard step-up box for the input side for the OTARI. Underneath the black skull cover is my Pioneer PL 518 TT with a Denon DL110 cart/ To the left is my TEAC A 6300. There the only 2 ten inch reel machines I own. No I am not a junkie if you ask.

Well damn - you stopped me in my tracks. I saw the photo and was going to ask but alas you nipped that one quick. BTW - welcome to Phoenix. I agree with you that good quality music is what this hobby is all about no matter how it is achieved.

They cost money. Better well spent on something that doesn't nag in the long run. Short run there great, long run not so much:bounce:
