Picked up a .22 short Derringer I didn't know was loaded, and blew the very tip of my left thumb off.

1974 / Morocco - Just got the training wheels off the old blue banana seat bike. Fascinated by the pedals as I barreled into a parked stake truck. 17 stiches in the right side of my forehead.

1980 / Hawaii - Following my buddy, traveling down the wrong side of the road. Smacked into a car pulling out of a side street. 22 stiches on the other side of the forehead.

1986 / Sugar Grove WV - Parents give me a 700cc Honda Magna for turning a good leaf over getting good grades in school. Rumor was they also bumped my life insurance up... Also taking into account the two previous accidents "on a bike" lol.

I was power washing the cooling fins on a couple of builds and they kept flying across the yard from the pressure and getting the whale spooge (heat sink compound) off them the easiest way I could think of so I decided to hold one with my bare hand while I used the other to pull the trigger.......... It deflected from the pressure and the 2800psi took the skin off the back of my hand, bled and stung.... I got a hell of a scar now.........................

Was sandblasting a pumping unit in the field. 20-40 sand, tripped over some plumbing and sandblasting my left forearm. Fraeked out when I looked at it, muscle and blood hardly any skin. Dug outmost of the sand, wrapped a rag around it and finished the day. Went to the ER and they freaked. Likea bad burn nothing they could do. Cleaned it and sent me home with lots off fake skin to use. Was back at work the next day in considerable pain. Nasty ass scar and still have 20-40 black under my skin.

This thread is now reminiscent of that scene in Jaws where they're on the boat in the middle of the ocean late at night sippin whiskey and sharing stories. Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss one-upping each other with scars and then Roy Scheider considers sharing his appendix scar but wisely, decides to abstain. Hilarious.
