That series was timeless. No longer living in the rust belt makes a huge difference on vehicle longevity as well. Speaking of appliances that &:(;):&&:mad: Samsung side by side puked the heater out of the ice maker again. Heck with it, ordered a cheap counter top ice maker, grrrrr :)
Refuse to spend $200 more on a cheap replacement.
Oooooh this is turning into a classic curmudgeon thread woohoo.

Hang onto the old stuff as long as possible, stock up on parts. Its all a big scam, and I wonder if there is a timer in my modern fridge which makes it fail after a certain amount of hours. As for the farmer/seed thing they are trying to tell us that "synthetic is sustainable", another big scam to destroy the natural food chain, destroy our health and depopulate the planet. Soon, if not already, they will be sneaking genetically modified crap into our food without anything being put on the label.

In 2022 at COP 27 representatives from CGIAR, CropLife, consultancy company EY and World Farmers Organisation came together to speak of the necessity for the world’s global food systems to become “regenerative”. The talk was hosted by Rockefeller, United Nations Food and Agricultural Organisation (partnership with CropLife in 2022) and CGIAR.

That these players are foisting themselves in to the regenerative space should give traditional regenerative, organic, biodynamic farmers pause. After all, speaking are representatives from some of the main players responsible for the chemical laden, monoculture, GMO, environmental destruction wreaked on the world. Which has led to the patenting of seeds and debt bondage of small farmers.

Co-opting of Regenerative Agriculture principles is the next instalment of the Green Revolution, and this one is coming for all farmers. Under the guise of climate change, equity, local food, and a “farmer led” approach, SYNTHETIC IS SUSTAINABLE. And it is every farmer’s responsibility to make the world more sustainable.

Need a new mechatronic unit (transmission interface/controller) installed and coded to the car. yes, it's very expensive.

Learned today you cannot re-code good used ones to a different car- you must buy a brand new one and re-code that. Guess who is the only one that can code it? Yep. Dealer only. Same deal with engine DME. One and done. And these things are all engineered to last to the end of the warranty period...
