Yep they are both two way speakers. The 1955 model has the correct University driver on the horn.
The 1949 model with the Altec driver is not original. That driver was made in 1957. But far superior
to the University. The '49 would have used the University also. If the woofers are original they could be
University or..... ? I'm not sure what year Paul changed to a three way by adding a little University
tweeter horn and then switched to the EV T35 tweeter horn
