Does a preamp with a high voltage B+(420V) sound more dymantic than a low voltage preamp(250V) just wondering i have a GSI PREAMP with Brian Clark mod that has a whopping regulating 420V B+ this damn preamp uses 5 watt non inductive wire wound resistors on the plate and cathode of the 12ax7 and 12at7 in Brian Clark manual he run the output tubes at very high current. Brian Clark had a few article in Edward T. Dell Audio Amateur

Preamp ..some of the older Audio Research used high voltage.

I do not know about dynamics...I would guess that in reasonable use the audio is all small signal, so higher B+ makes no difference....except it is noisier, because noise is proportional to plate resistor value.
