Update...

Threw the cones on the monsters tonite, drilled some .50 pieces for the bases (they wanted $20 each for them at the brick & mortar today). Not easy moving them puppies around to set the cones in the base....but done!

Guess what...took care of the problem, no rumble, no bouncing needle...yea! Fish is happy tonite. Chianti and chive don't hurt...kicking back cranking a few, gotta find the right placement again.

Seeing... The whole right side of the room isn't moving..no rumble on the TT, needle not bouncing.

Hearing....less muddled base at volume, distinct, hits hard but does not resonate. The speaks were shaking a very heavy hutch the TT is on, cranking it past 2:00 on the dial now. Had trouble holding down the needle at 10:00 before. Changed my soundstage a bit, just have to reposition the speaks for my sweet spot.

Havent tried playing cd's yet. Didn't have the base rumble problem with the cd.

I could just get a triple layer section of polyfoam sheeting or whatever it is called and cushion the TT, or a CD player, works as good, although I don't have a WOPL.
