I for one Joe appreciate your efforts.....it has to be.....tedious ....at times...
Agreed, Lee! Having those bags labeled, like Mark mentions in his one video, is a HUGE help! And your patience, Joe, is also much appreciated for even with the instructions and labeled bags, SOME people (me) still miss stuff but you are patient and nudge "them" in the right direction. Thanks Joe. I'm listening to my system more and loving it, what a great amp!

What are you saying? I wasn't supposed to make a big pile with all the parts then do the build. Ugh!

One of my bags had an extra part, that realy messed me up.

Oh yah,Good job Joe :hello1::hello1::shaking2::downtown::angryfire:;-)

I was going to use some old boards the other day and order parts for them, after five minutes or so they went in the garbage. Joe makes it so easy

My rule is if I am going to err on quantity it is on the extra side.

If I remember correctly, when you bought a HeathKit (television, stereo, whatnot) you got a package of resistors, diodes, blah blah blah, and YOU had to sort them all out according to the color codes or markings. AND: You had to bend the leads yourself to fit into the circuit board holes!

Joe: you've spoiled kitbuilders all over the world... Bless you!

Thanks guys. I have really worked hard to make it paint by numbers. The goal is to not have to open any documentation in order to get the board assemblies populated.

I have to offer special thank all the builders out there that have helped me fine tune documentation along the way. I cannot see the forest for the trees, as I have assembled way too many of these.

Especially in the light of getting custom multilayer PC boards made- must have been a lot. Getting boards made isn't a cheap proposition.

One thing also that I wonder: How did you arrive at the circuit design? The PL14-20 board has a hell of a lot more components than the original PL36 that it replaces. Changing the output stages from QC to FC is another design miracle. How on earth did you think all this stuff up?

Somewhere just short of 425 at this point Lee...that includes about 10 that I still have kicking around the lab for test and support use.

Largest population by far is the RevD. Almost all new demands are for full comp...

Hello guys,

Long time no see.. I had a couple of serious personnal issues lately and this kept me away for several months from my amp and from the forum...
Hope you'll pardon me and that I can still count on your unvaluable help.
I read the last comments on my original posts and I hope that everyone undertands that I haven't been blaming Joe in any way for not being clear in his instructions. I think I was a little too much in a hurry at the time...

Well, I am back and focused, and I'll try to fix this...

Cheers
