There are more things you can do on older analog than you can on older digital. You can always upgrade connectors then for me would be caps.wiring, attenuators. You have to have something worth doing it to. Without a good base to build from it is like polishing a turd. It looks good but it is still a turd. What else can make a difference in sound. Which has given you the most bang for the buck?

Hope you are back to running on all 8 cylinders again Lee...

Not yet, but close Joe. Just had dinner at the same spot we took Mark out to with my sister and brother in law. Both retired high school teacher's now full time with their new business---" Old dead Things, LLC" , fossils, rocks and minerals. They had been beating their head against the wall the past 5 years doing little rock shows, now they have broken out of those and are the primary Exhibitor at AAPG's regional conferences and just makin a killing, ( AAPG---American Association of Petroleum Geologists). My sister says they don't haggle and they talk her language. She had a master's in chemistry and biology. They were on their way to Rapid City to do an exhibit for SIG?? Earth geologists this time with some hydrologists thrown in. They were just invited to do the regional AAPG's pacific conference in Monterrey, Cal. No lookin back now.

Nice Lee, looks like they paid their dues and "built it themselves" It is nice to see hard work pay off.

Yeah, couldn't have happened to nicer people either, good folks.
