I'm not sure if this is the best place for this thread but I wanted to provide a source for through hole 1/4 watt, 1% metal film E96 resistor kits. The resistors are manufactured by KOA and distributed by Garrett Electronics. The kits cover the entire 482 value range for 1% resistors.
They can be purchased in several ways but for someone wanting to have a complete set or get every other value totaling 240 values this is a good source. I've included a pdf of their kit catalog with pricing - the through hole metal film resistor kits are on page 5. The pricing is decent for the kit form IMO and Garrett has a good reputation as a distributer. We use a lot of their surface mount components.
