Found this on the bay for $58. My first (and probably last) attempt at veneer. Works perfect. Looking for a black (TP 21) tonearm cap if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Best of luck with the veneer job, I would love to learn that stuff as I have a PL-550 I could really dig dark cherry or zebrawood with a nice grain pattern. Better yet an exotic granite phinthe LOL! Great pickup on the table BTW, I had one several years ago and it was totally kickass

What a nice job on the restoration of the table! Did you apply veneer over the original material? Shoot an email to Gordon @ Innovative Audio in Surrey, B.C., Canada. Here's the home page: http://www.iavscanada.com/index.htm And contact information: http://www.iavscanada.com/contact.htm

I included the home page in case you want to peruse their site. Turntables and vinyl are seeing a big upswing in demand, here.

Nando.

Wow man. Stunning job on that table. Thing looks mint now.

Thanks. I spent 2 days scraping & sanding.

Man - that turntable has the look. What a fantastic job. I'll send you a couple to clean up. :laughing9:
