Thorens Launches "New Reference" Turntable

how much they gonna take off the price cause it is not very good looking? Dang near looks close and play.

Only issue ever had was the viscous damped cueing fluid needed refreshing.

The Thorens New Reference can be equipped with up to 3 tonearm bases and can accommodate tonearms of 9", 10", and 12" inches. In addition to the newly developed TP160 cutting bearing tonearm with a length of 12" inches and continuous silver cabling, the Thiele TA01 tonearm is also used.
 
Wow, I have had my 1957 Thorens TD 124 since 1970.
I rebuilt it top to bottom a few years back, and it performs flawlessly.
This new Thorens looks as if it was made by Acoustic Signature:

Dubbed the "Neo" series, note that the NEO Invictus weighs 130Kg or 286 Pounds !!!!!!!
Really dates me I guess, but I will stick with my TD 124.

Pretty much IMHO they are all ugly and not something I'd want to look at or use. 4 tonearms seem a bit too much, all my tables [ AR-XA, Garrard Lab 80, Pioneer PL-12D, Yamaha PX-3 only have one arm each and work just fine that way.
 
Thorens has been a strong company over the years and has the engineering chops to launch a serious assault on the state of the art, which this may be, so I'm just gonna say it's a prime example of form following function and leave it at that.
